The Battle of Britain

It is the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, people came from all over the world to give their yesterday so we could have our tomorrow. In particular, an engineer by the name of Edwin Seymour Wilson a Jamaican national. Pilots Alan Deere a New Zealand national. Pierre Closterman a French national, George Beurling a Canadian National, Don Blakslee an American national and Johnnie Johnson a British national. These pilots became aces in the Battle of Britain at Biggin Hill Airport.

The Name: RJ Spitfires

RJ Spitfires is named after Reginald J Mitchell who is best known as British aircraft designer and developer of the Spitfire, one of the best-known fighters of World War II and a major factor in the British victory at the Battle of Britain.
